>My Supersedeas Was Denied- What Does That Mean?

>It means you will keep getting your indemnity (wage loss) checks- and this, of course, is a good thing. If Supersedeas is granted, your checks will stop. In either case, you need an experienced workers comp lawyer to assist you- and to maximize your settlement.

  1. what happens when you get a letter from workers comp that says denied and supersedeas order and it states defendant petition for supersedeas filed in the above captioned case, the said petition for supersedeas is hereby denied

    1. Hi Latasha. If Supersedeas is denied, then any wage loss that’s being paid, must continue as the pending petition is being litigated. If you do not have a lawyer, please feel free to call me at 215 206 9068 directly and I can explain more fully. Thanks for reading my blog. -Mike
